Y’all oh my goshhh, I will never stop GUSHING about Dusk & Dawn. The brand, the values, the ideas, and of course the stunning photos we got together. Working with Elisabeth and her team on their beachy lifestyle brand photos in 30A was everythingggg and in this blog post we are breaking it all down. Meet Dusk & Dawn A Luxury Mobile Bar on 30A & The Inspiration Behind Their Coastal Brand Photos
Dusk & Dawn is a luxury mobile bar and beverage experience based in Santa Rosa Beach, FL. They serve the entire Emerald Coast–30A, Destin & Beyond offering bartending services, curated matcha and coffee bars, cocktail and mocktail classes, and signature spritz bars for weddings, events, and every celebration.
They’ll pretty much meet you where you’re at and make all of your cutie drink dreams come true whether you’re a coffee, matcha, mocktail, cocktail (or all of the above) lover. They truly create a totally customized experience for all of their clients.
The owner, Elisabeth, has the most incredible heart. One of the most beautiful parts of Dusk & Dawn is their Sip & Support program; every year, with the help of their community, they choose a non-profit to partner with and donate 10% of their proceeds.
When we were planning this photoshoot, there were a few key things we focused on; getting some beautiful headshots of their amazing team, celebrating 1 year of Dusk & Dawn (and their sip and support impact), and of course getting trendy cutie content for their socials and website.
The inspiration, voice, and vibes were light, glittery, happy, vibey, girl-codeddd, it girl energy. Needless to say the vibes were vibing and from there we knew it needed to be fun, cutie, girly, and filled with some beachy colorssss.
Why The The Iconic 30a Beaches Are Perfect for Coastal Brand Photos
I don’t think I can speak highly enough or even find the right words to describe how perfect the beaches along 30A are. They make the most beautiful backdrop for photos. The colors bring so much life, and really just speak for themselves.
I’m definitely a little biased (I did move here because of how much I love the beaches) but if you’re a coastal brand the colors, the sparkle, and the white sand photograph so beautifully and give it that effortless beachy magic. They are so recognizable, people instantly connect those teal waters to 30A.
Your Outfit Will Make Or Break Your Brand Photos
Just like where you take your photos, your outfits speak directly to your brand and elevate your photos sooo much. For this shoot, the vibes were beachy, overalls, swim covers, and some cutie Honey Swim bikinis (another amazing local 30A brand).
I love bringing in and supporting other local businesses when it comes to styling photoshoots. It's such a great way to support your community, represent brands you love, and create genuine connections in business.
Elisabeth was on it with this one, she wore some darkwash Levi overalls, with Honey Swim’s Sangria Ribbed Triangle Set. Mackenzie wore both a colorful and white knitted top with light wash denim shorts and Honey Swim’s Kelly Green Luxe Set. Terry wore a cutie blue and white dress. Every outfit matched the vision so perfectly and aligned so well with the beachy feeling.
How to Create Scroll Stopping & Brand Aligned Photos (It’s All In The Details)
Every detail was so thoughtfully curated, from colorful drinks, to their signature matchas and lattes, the seashell covered cake, birthday candles and 15 candles representing the 15 corals they helped plant with Coral Gardeners (their 1st year sip and support partner!!). It was perfectionnnn!
When you start with the goals, in this case the headshots, the celebrations, and cutie product photos, you can break each of those down into a clear vision.
We started with the headshots: everyone in their cutie bikinis and outfits, feeling fresh and ready to go. Then we moved into the drink details, capturing them in full sun with blue skies to give that sparkly, colorful, fun energy.
We planned for 5 different cocktails in 5 different glasses, instead of just bringing them ready to go we actually photographed the process, shaking, pouring, cheers-ing, bringing the moment and life into the photos.
After that we moved on to the celebrationnnn. The matcha and latte topped with their signature whip and candles ( I’m drooling thinking about how tasty their matcha is), the perfectly styled drink carrier filled with girly beach essentials, and a pinterest inspired cake covered with seashells. We timed this part around sunset, added some candles and flash to give that celebratory party vibe; the most perfect way to tie a bow on the shoot and Dusk & Dawns first year!!!

First off working with her was a dream- everything was taken care of and carefully curated around my vibe and what I wanted to do/feel in my pictures.
